Biologic evolution

This photograph is a corbicula.
It is understood that there is a skin as well as the green willow
shellfish.
It thinks the green willow for the skin to exist to delay the invasion
of the shell with seawater.
Because the corbicula doesn't live in seawater, another idea is
necessary though it was thought that corbicula's skin was also similar.
