It is a hypothesis above

It thought of Sesarmops intermedium because it observed it.

Theory of evolution of living thing.

Living thing that gets ashore from sea.

Animals who became it to live on land.

And, it is a crab.

Sesarmops intermedium breeds in the place where the estuarine water is the best.

Therefore, it is introduced as a crab that ends in the river in the picture book.

When you observe Sesarmops intermedium

It was noticed to eat sand.

Sand is carried to the mouth by the fingernail in the sea.

Crabs came to act from the sea (river) in the sand of the nest hole as the temperature fell.

Sand is sand into which seawater soaks.

It seems that it lives in the sand, it eats sand, and salinity is replenished.

Sesarmops intermedium that gets ashore from sea.

It might be a crab that can live by eating saline sand in the land and became it.

It is a hypothesis above.
